For balance there are a good number of 262C fans around the world that would beg to differ. Many who posted on this forum. As for knocking the performance, I drive a 1980 262C and continue to be impressed with its' performance. Not bad for a 27 year old classic. Not the fastest off the mark, nor the slowest. I challenge anyone to beat its comfort & ride (except for very tall drivers). 262 bashers just make the fans more loyal. "Worst ever...", not even in the running! Even Ford Edsels have fans. Circa: 1948). Didn't he make his fortune designing & producing revolving tank turrets for the US Army? Some cars are like a fine wine that improves with age!
