Dashboard electrics cutting out.

I have a 2002 S60 D5 Auto. Recently had the intercooler replaced, which has sorted the black smoke out the exhaust. But now my dashboard electrics keep cutting out for a second and coming back on again. No loss of power or performance to the car. Does anybody have any suggestions as to what could be causing this. :lightning:

Glad to hear you fixed it. I was curious about your original post where mention that changing the intercooler reduced the amount of black smoke out the exhaust. Why would this be? Does this engine have some sort of exhaust gas recirculation like my old Mitsubishi?

Hi Bob, please see my post above - My dashboard lights go out and come on again temporarily when I press the odometer button!! Any ideas on what I should do? Will I need to buy a new circuit board do you reckon? Cheers, Simon.
